About Me
Meet Kim Kind
Hello!
My name is Kim Kind, owner and operator of Westhill Kids Care.
Founded in fall 2015, Westhill Kids Care is a small, fully licensed in-home daycare serving Westhill Elementary families. I opened the program after recognizing both a community need and my lifelong love of working with children. What began as the perfect fit has become work I truly love. I'm excited to go to work every day and feel grateful to do what I do.
I grew up in Kenmore, WA, and have called Bothell home for over 24 years while raising my family. My husband, Jason, and I have been married for over 30 years and are proud parents of two daughters.
Working with children has always been my passion. I began babysitting at age 10 and later spent 18 years as a Jr. K teacher. After taking time away from teaching, I missed working with kids and saw a strong need for quality before-and-after-school care in the community. That led to the founding of Westhill Kids Care. My goal is to provide a loving, fun, safe environment where children feel at home.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, crafting, traveling, and spending time with family.
